Build the best apps. Be the best developer.

About the Conference

The way we build applications has changed dramatically over the last few years. Gone are the days of developers building every part of their application. Modern development teams are instead assembling their applications using a compilation of API services like Twilio, Stripe, and AWS.

Come learn how to build better, build faster, and build smarter – and have fun doing it.

Brought to you by Okta, Twilio, Atlassian, Algolia and the JS Foundation, Iterate will explore cutting-edge technology and the tools and services you need to build an app that just works.

Why Attend?

Registration for Iterate Developer Conference 2018 is now closed. Please stay tuned for next year!

These innovations are coalescing to fuel a revolution in the way we write JS. In this session, you'll learn why you can no longer afford to build JavaScript in the old paradigm, and we'll explore how you can make the shift to join the reusable revolution.

Many of us care deeply about the craft of engineering and quality of our work. But we're not the first industry to try to accomplish new advanced things. What can we learn from others that have a proven model? We'll look into one area, aerospace and how truly remarkable things were built to see if we can learn things that could apply the same the software engineering.

Observability and the Glorious Future

Monitoring hasn't changed in 20+ years, and it doesn't help much when you need to understand modern systems or debug a particular client's issues.  An emerging set of observability tools and practices target this gap by being event-driven, high-cardinality and exploratory... and built for software engineers.
